Should you Try Intermittent Fasting?
Recently I found out about a new trend: intermittent fasting weight loss diets. This sounds like a pretty interesting way to lose weight to me, and I'm going to give it a shot to see how it works. I've previously avoided trying out fasting methods because I have heard you can slow down your metabolism this way, and I certainly don't want to do that.
Intermittent fasting, however, seems different. The basic principle is you eat for a day and then fast for a day. A lot of animal studies have shown it not only results in losing weight but actually may improve your lifespan, reduce chances of diabetes and may even combat certain forms of cancer!
I'll give some updates as to the results of my experiments in the near future, but I'm really excited to see how this works for me!
